Patients are to be given a requisition form for salivary cortisol. They may obtain a saliva collection kit from the Lab Test Centre. Once collected, patients are to return the specimen and the requisition form to the Outpatient Clinic or Lab Test Centre to be forwarded to the Core Laboratory. Specimen date and time of collection must be included on the specimen and on the requisition form.
