EBV Viral Capsid Antigen IgG (VCA IgG)
EBV Early Antigen IgG (EA)
EBV Nuclear Antigen IgG (EBNA)
Method of Analysis: Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA)
Critical Information Required: Provide clinical history with symptoms and onset date.

EBV Viral Caspid Antigen IgM (VCA IgM) testing will be performed if:
- Requested by the ordering physician and clinical information suggests recent/current infection
- Child under 5, with symptoms and date of onset provided
Storage & Shipment: Specimen must be received within 24 hours of collection. If the transport time exceeds 24 hours, the specimen will only be tested if appropriate.
