Method of Analysis: Whole blood is incubated with fluorescent-tagged monoclonal antibodies to detect abnormal increases or decreases in lymphocyte cell populations using Flow Cytometry.
Critical Information Required: CBC Differential result
Storage & Shipment: Specimens are to be shipped/transported within 1 hour of collection to the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Victoria Hospital at room temperature.

Samples must be received and processed within 24 hours of collection by the Flow Cytometry Laboratory.

Fridays or prior to a STAT Holiday, specimens must be received in the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Victoria Hospital by 1300 h.

Once received by the Flow Cytometry Laboratory, samples are to be stored at 4oC.
