Special Processing: Store sample at 4 Celsius and send ASAP to the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Victoria Hospital.
Comments:  
Method of Analysis: Sample is incubated with fluorescent-tagged monoclonal antibodies specific for lymphoctes and analyzed using laser based Flow Cytometry.
Critical Information Required: Any relevant patient history should be included with the specimen.
Storage & Shipment: Specimens are to be shipped/transported within 30 minutes of collection to the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Victoria Hospital at room temperature.

Samples must be received and processed within 24 hours of collection by the Flow Cytometry Laboratory.

Fridays or prior to a STAT Holiday, specimens must be received in the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Victoria Hospital by 1300 h.

Once received by the Flow Cytometry Laboratory, samples are to be stored at 4oC and protected from freezing.
