Collect 20 mL urine in sterile container. Protect specimen from light.

24 hour urine collection:
Collection of 24-Hour Urine Sample. Collect urine in a container with no preservative. Protect from light and keep cool during collection.
Please complete the laboratory label attached to the collection bottle to include patientís name, collection start time and date and collection end time and date.

Note: 24 hour urines for porphyrin collection are NOT suitable for porphyrin precursor testing. A separate collection is required.
