Collection Information: Dried blood spot collected from a finger stick or from whole blood collected in a Lavender (EDTA) top tube spotted onto a Whatman 903 filter paper card. Store DBS at -20C or below in tightly sealed bags. Protect from moisture and condensation at all times.

Saturate each circle completely (blood dot should be visible on both front and back of card) with a single application; air dry thoroughly.

If EDTA tube received, send to Biochemical Genetics on ice packs with next courier. They will make the blood spot card.

If received after hours, store in fridge and send the next business day.
