Interpretive Comments: Only done on request of physician if the cold agglutinin screen is positive.
The titre and thermal range of the cold autoantibody normally found in adult serum can increase following viral or bacterial infections or with cold autoimmune hemolytic anemia/cold hemagglutinin disease.
