Light Green (Li-Heparin) or Lavender (EDTA) top tubes are NOT acceptable
Collection Information: The minimum volume of serum required is 400 L for adult or 300 L for pediatric samples.

Storage & Shipment: Serum may be kept refrigerated if it will received in the Endocrinology Laboratory within 2 days. Alternatively, it may be frozen.
