Collection Information: Must be transported to the lab immediately.

HHV6 testing must be approved by the Medical Microbiologist and one of the following criteria met:

1) Primary infection or viral reactivation in immunocompromised individuals

2) Encephalitis cases
Requisition: Sick Kids Molecular Microbiology Referred In Viral Requisition
Test Schedule: Referred out Monday-Wednesday to SickKids
